V.I.P.S. (Very Important Presbyterian Seniors)

Senior Presbyterians are very important in The Presbyterian Church of LaPorte.  They participate in every ministry of the church caring for members in need, walking for CROP, singing and playing handbells in our choirs, cooking for church dinners, assisting with Vacation Bible School and participating in Thursday Nite Live.  In addition they provide valuable wisdom and leadership when serving on the boards and committees of the church.  Our seniors are the strength of our congregation because they give so freely of themselves.

The V.I.P.s, Very Important Presbyterian Seniors, is a special (mostly) "Seniors only" gathering that occurs monthly at our church on the second Thursday.  Our V.I.P.s  meet for a time of fellowship over lunch and a program of interest.  Many of our seniors also take advantage of the time together to stay afterwards  just to chat, catch up and make a new friend.

We hope you'll join us for our next event:
Thursday, February 9 at noon.
Come join us for a heart-warming experience looking through the eyes of our own Brittany Belkiewitz as she relates the joys volunteering at the orphanage in La Serena, Chile as she represented Christians and Americans working for the greater good. She had 20 energetic toddlers that she grew to know and love over a three and a half week period.

We will enjoy a light lunch together at 12:00. Please sign up in the Narthex on the “Information Station” bulletin board so that we prepare enough food for this special attraction.
